1 Subject Matter and Scope
This standard specifies the use of rotary viscometer and the viscosity of the viscosity method of Adhesives Cup.
The standard rotational viscometer for Newtonian or near Newtonian behavior of the adhesive viscosity.
The viscosity of the standard cup method for 50mL sample time 30 ~ 100s out of the adhesive viscosity.
2 Principle
2.1 rotational viscometer measured the viscosity is the dynamic viscosity, which is based on the apparent viscosity changes with shear rate change was reversible.

3 instruments and equipment
3.1 rotational viscometer.

4 specimen
4.1 The sample should be evenly without air bubbles.
4.2 The sample size to be able to meet the rotational viscometer and the viscosity needed to test the Cup.
5 Test procedure
5.1 rotational viscometer:
5.1.1 The sample should choose the same rotor and appropriate the same speed, so that the dial reading of 20% to 80% range.
5.1.2 will be filled with the sample container into the constant temperature bath, so that the sample temperature and test temperature balance, and maintain the sample temperature uniform.
5.1.3 vertical rotor immersed in the sample center of the rotor and to achieve the level surface marking (to be fitted with a protective frame.)
5.1.4 starting rotation viscometer, read pointer in the disc rotation constant readings.
5.1.5 Determination of three times for each sample.
5.2 Viscosity Cup:

5.2.6 do it again the determination of the difference between the second measured value should not exceed the average of 5%.
6 The results indicated that
6.1 rotary viscometer method, three samples taken a reading test, the minimum value, whichever is the effective number three.

7 determination results

8 Test report
Test report should include the following:
a. Sample source, name, type;
